a hot sleepers best friend!

I'm having a hard time putting into words how I feel about this bamboo coverlet.. just wow!!! Never in my life have I thought about my bed and crawling into it as much as I do now. My husband would be jealous if he knew how much I think about this thing.
I'm new to bamboo bedding and was so fortunate to get to try bamboo sheets at the same time. I love the sustainably and how eco-friendly it is. But I never in a million years thought it could be so luxuriously soft and cold- in a great way (it's August in Arkansas).
I put my new bedding on before getting in a hot bath last night and when I got out and finally got to sink into my bed- it was so refreshingly and suprisingly cool. And silky smooth. This thing is great!! I so wish that I had it this time last year when I was having hot flashes. I want to scream from the rooftops to any women with hot flashes to please treat yourself to the wonderful world of bamboo!
This is very thin. And I actually got under it today to cool off when I was hot. And it worked! So I'm very interested to see what happens when the temperatures drop. If it does the same thing in reverse with warmth that would be too much! I will update this review in a few months with the verdict about that. I'll also update if I have any issues with pilling because this is an investment for many, me included. But so far, so great! It's a great size and hides my deep mattress. It's very thin. But so luxurious. I absolutely love it and most definitely recommend it- even for the price.
Luxurious Sleep

First let me establish a few things: I live in a hot, humid state. We keep our AC at 78, and both suffer from night sweats. A blanket just doesn't seem like a good idea, but I MUST be covered when I sleep as it helps with my RLS. I am not a blanket connoisseur.
The first thing I noticed is this blanket is weighty! Which doesn't make any sense because it's also really thin. I immediately tossed it in the laundry and made sure to wash/dry it according to instructions. No fabric softener or wool balls in the dryer, and dry on medium. Drying took quite a while with my machine as the blanket would ball up inside the tumbler and stay damp in the center. After it fully dried it was so SOFT and FLUFFY! Still thin, but it had a nice plushness to it.
Fast forward to this morning I didn't want to get out of bed! The blanket hugged me (and my restless legs) all night without making me overheat. In fact even after reading in bed for a while it still felt nice and cool, but cozy. I couldn't be happier! I will be sure to update my review if anything happens with subsequent washes, but so far it seems like a really high quality blanket.

BedVoyage Coverlet is a beautiful addition to my bedroom. Before using it for the first time, it is recommended that you wash the coverlet. I was surprised at how long it took to dry, but washing it took out all the creases from having been packaged. The coverlet was incredibly soft. This coverlet will be great for the approaching cool fall nights.
great weight and feel

I added your bamboo coverlet on top of our duvet as its getting so cold and ready for more 'weight' on the bed, and this coverlet is oh-so-perfect. It totally warmed up the bed and kept us sleeping warmer, and our CoCo puppy loves it too!

This is the most beautiful coverlet I have ever used! Its so silky soft, elegant, adds weight but is not 'hot' and its SO gorgeous on my bed! its my new favorite thing :-)

I love your Coverlet, its my new favorite bedspread that I've ever had. Its not heavy and I don't sweat, i put it over my comforter and its all I need for sleeping great.

Amazing Coverlet! Shopping for great bedding has been a passion of mine, i relish great sheets and all that goes on your bed, more than most people.
